End of Year Teacher Gifts with Tiny Prints*

I was thrilled when Tiny Prints contacted me to ask if I’d like to sample some of their stationery products. A glance at their website, I knew the answer was a definitive yes! Quirky prints, chevrons, polka dots and brights, mixed with monochrome, simplicity and personalisation options, I was enamoured…to say the very least. Tiny Prints, an American company, is part of the Shutterfly Family. Their products and designs are different to what I’ve seen on popular UK websites and this screamed out to me.
Instantly, I thought how perfect their products were for teachers. Especially as end of year gifts. It’s worth noting here that teachers do not expect gifts, nor seek them. However, we are thankful that there are parents who appreciate the little things we do day in, day out for their children. Sometimes, they choose to show this gratitude with a small gift, which is just as nice as being personally thanked at the end of a hard year.

For some time now, I’ve wanted to thank Liz, a very good friend of mine who happens to be a teacher too. We have been friends for nearly 7 years, we bonded over a love of craft (hers jewellery, mine sewing) and a shared belief that a love of stationery is a pre-requisite of teaching. We both like to have pretty desks at work with our own non-regulation stationery. (Yes. I mean polka dot pencils and a personal set of felt tips, probably homed in a kitsch pencil case!)
Liz is always surprising me with her thoughtfulness. As all good friends do, she seems to know exactly when I need a listening ear. So it’s great to be able to thank her with a bundle of teacher goodies. I have a feeling that as the end of term approaches, this will make her smile and look forward to the new term, maybe.
1. Custom DIY mug
2. Custom self-inking stamp
3. Address labels
Ordering from Tiny Prints was so simple, despite my computer’s attempts to sabotage my efforts. My browser wasn’t allowing me to add photographs to the template, however a quick live chat and a Tiny Prints representative had placed each image onto the template…just like I’d asked.

What I liked about Tiny Prints was that I could design the mug exactly how I wanted it, even if the options didn’t allow it. A quick message to their design team, and white text became black, stamps became personal and labels were addressed.

Initially, I feared I’d be waiting weeks for my order to arrive. However, it came within the week! Each item arriving separately and packaged well to ensure each item was pristine.

I can’t wait to surprise Liz with these goodies! A huge thanks to Tiny Prints for making this possible and Liz’s husband, who helped me craftily gain a photograph of their little one. Not forgetting, the boy, for his amazing photography skills, as always.

Do you believe in personalised gifts?

As always, much love,
