#FROCKSWAP15 :: WE’RE BACK!

I’m so excited to announce… FROCK SWAP is BACK! Yet again, four bloggers will swap pre-loved beauties and see new life breathed into them. Don’t worry, with each blogger eventually receiving the item back, it’s painless and such a fun way to push our style boundaries. This year, Charlotte and Ally will join Erica and I to make #FrockSwap15.

With the 100 day high street spending ban in full force, this is yet another way to add excitement to an ever-bursting wardrobe. There’s something about receiving a parcel of clothing to give you the jiggles. Especially when I’ll be receiving clothing from Charlotte’s wardrobe zoo, Ally’s over-flowing dressing room and Erica’s pastel paradise. What could be better? So, are you wondering what I’ll be swapping? Wait no longer…
I’m swapping this bird print collared dress. I snapped it up on eBay for a buy it now price of £6, a bargain considering it was brand new. It’s bright, it has a collar, what’s not to love? Well… Being honest, the see-through mesh on the chest. That’s what. I first wore this outfit to visit the Manchester Print Fair. Layered with a fine knit jumper, it’s comfy and practical. Since November, I’ve slowly fallen out of love with it as I have little idea of how to rework it. It’s all packaged up to wing it’s way to Charlotte, I can’t wait to see how she reworks it.

The first parcel of clothes I’ll be receiving is from one quarter of the mustard quad, Erica. I can’t wait to see what she picks out for us. In a wardrobe built on floral and polka dot foundations, it’s sure to be a winner.

How would you style this collared bird dress?
