Here’s a question, what have Britney Spears, Sin City cocktails and a Diva Dollars roulette table got in common? Sprinkle in a handful of glitter and it’s Divas Glam Vegas, of course! To celebrate Thomas Cook Airline’s latest flight path from Manchester to Las Vegas, bloggers were invited to a Manchester blog event like no other: an evening of glitz and glamour at Manchester’s Milton Club.

Despite the threat of snow and sleet, Manchester’s weather could not dull the sparkle of this hot event. On arrival, Manchester blogger, Christine (from The Fabulous Times) and I headed straight to the beauty station. You see, I’d flown out of a long meeting at work and battled the Manchester traffic, so the chance to be made over was a blessing. It took seconds for me to decide on a smokey eye. 

I was thrilled with the end result, so thrilled I even grabbed Britney for a quick selfie!

As I was driving, it was strictly no cocktails for me, but thankfully, Thomas Cook had organised the most fabulous of mocktails. Standing tall in their glasses, the Sinless City mocktails were just as good as their alcoholic counterparts. As we sipped a taste of Sinless City, it was lovely to see Anoushka again (looking as classy as ever with Givenchy make up) and meet the gorgeous Rachel of Vintage Folly. (If there’s one thing I love about Manchester blog events, it’s meeting the person behind the writing.) 

Heading over to the roulette table to gamble our Diva Dollars, we were interrupted by the most fabulous surprise. Britney performing Toxic. With legs that go on for miles (and miles), we could have been in Vegas watching Britney in real life. Oh, how I wish!
