FROCK SWAP V WHAT I THRIFTED #7

Note the quizzical look, the awkward stance… it can only mean one thing. I’m wearing pastels. Not just that, I’m bare-legged and it’s only March! This can only mean one thing; yes, it’s the latest Frock Swap and you can guess who sent this dress- Erica, of course. With its pretty Japanese fan print and hint of peach, it’s the only thing I own (if only for a month) that matches my new thrifted blouse. Enter What I Thrifted #7….

Of course it was the peter pan collar that caught my eye, as I was leaving Cancer Research empty handed. I took one look at that collar, decided to forgive its peach shade and took a risk on pastels. Despite it’s obvious beauty, I had absolutely nothing to wear with it. So, on the hanger it sat whilst I wistfully searched my wardrobe (and numerous charity shops). Then voila, Erica pulls this out of the bag. Fate.

It can’t have escaped your attention that this outfit contains 3 thrifted items. 3! (You saw the loafers in my last outfit post and the Nica handbag many moons ago) Since starting the high street ban, I’ve found so so many things in charity shops – too many to feature, some too boring to feature! Just incase you’re interested, the thrifted clothes in this look cost under £10!

Here’s how Erica and Chloe styled up this gorgeous dress:

So there you have it, one gorgeous dress now styled three different ways.

What do you think?
How would you style this pretty dress?
As always, much love,
Donna x
